Pulse oxymeter Lanaform PO-100

Pulse oximetry is a non-invasive method used to measure the level of blood oxygen saturation (SpO2) by monitoring the percentage of oxygenated hemoglobin in the blood, as well as the pulse modulation index and to measure heart rate. The procedure has been used for more than 20 years and is a basic check in medical practice to determine oxygen levels and prevent respiratory problems. The value of oxygen saturation is considered dangerous if it is lower than 90% in arterial blood. Under normal atmospheric conditions, the normal value is 100%.

The multi-function oximeter will also measure heart rate (pulse) and perfusion index (PI). The perfusion index measures the strength of the arterial pulse. It can be used as a diagnostic tool at low perusal to prevent severe failure. The perfusion index must be between 0.3 - 20%, it varies depending on the patient, his physical condition and the place of measurement.
